The Lekki Muslim Ummah (LEMU) on Thursday held its Annual Imams Conference at the Lekki Central Mosque in Lagos.

This yearโ€™s conference themed โ€œImams, the Youths and the Lawโ€ was aimed at strengthening the relationship between Islamic clerics and the younger generation, while addressing critical legal issues affecting the Muslim community.

The conference which was held at the Vice Admiral Jubrila Ayinla Multipurpose Hall, located within the masjid had in attendance hundreds of Imams from Lagos and some south-west states.

Among the guest appearance were Prof. AbdulKareem Olatoye and Prof. Adeleke, both from the Faculty of Law, Lagos State University (LASU), Dr. AbdulGaniyu Labinjo, LEMU president.

The conference was chaired by Hon. Oyinlomo Danmole, President of the Lagos State Muslim Community.
