THE HEART THAT REMEMBERS ALLAH :(Dhikr and Inner Peace)

In the noise of modern life, our hearts often feel restless. We chase success, wealth, and recognition, yet true peace seems distant. The Qur’an gives us the remedy:

“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Qur’an 13:28)

Dhikr—the remembrance of Allah—nourishes the soul. Whether through reciting SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, or simply reflecting on Allah’s mercy, dhikr keeps us connected to our Creator.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not is like that of the living and the dead.” (Bukhari and Muslim)

This Hadith shows that dhikr is not a ritual—it is life

itself. A heart without remembrance of Allah is lifeless, but a heart filled with dhikr is alive, hopeful, and strong.

Dhikr also shields us from sin, softens our character, and builds resilience in hardship. It is a source of strength when our minds are troubled and a light that guides us through darkness.

Make dhikr part of your daily rhythm: while commuting, walking, waiting, or even in moments of silence. The tongue that remembers Allah brings life to the heart.

In truth, peace is not found in possessions or power—it is found in a heart that beats with the remembrance of its Lord.
