The management of Lekki Muslim Ummah (LEMU) has held a two-day onboarding workshop for its new staff

The workshop held at the Legacy Hall of Lekki Central Mosque.

Under the theme of “Excellence in Service (Ihsan) & Administrative Integrity,” the program, opened by Dr AbdulGaniy Labinjo, LEMU President, aimed to align the team with the organization’s vision of faith-driven professionalism.

Day one focused on institutional alignment. Facilitators like Alhaji Abdulrrazaq Kasim, General Secretary and Alhaja Buraimoh guided participants through governance structures, the staff handbook, and the “administrative mastery” required for world-class record-keeping.

Captain Sani Bulama had a session on personal safety, asset protection, emergency procedures, and access control of the mosque.

Dr. Jamiu Ridwan, chief Imam of Lekki Central Mosque, grounded the session in the spiritual concept of Amanah (trust), emphasising the ethics of a Muslim professionals.

Day two shifted toward operational effectiveness. Dr. Basheer Oshodi led a critical session on financial integrity and internal controls, while Alhaji Jaiyeola Abdulsalam, Welfare Secretary detailed staff support systems.

Jamiu Olasunkanmi Mustafa, School Administrator for LEMU Group of Schools was the host for the workshop.

The workshop concluded with an open forum, where staff committed to the overall objective: delivering excellent service to the Lekki Muslim community through collaborative skills and high ethical standards.
