Sometimes, life takes us along roads we never expected to travel. There are bends we did not anticipate, doors that close without warning, and moments when the future appears uncertain.
But remember: a bend in the road is not the end of the road. It may simply be an invitation to turn in a new direction.
Do not allow the reasons why something may not work to overwhelm you. Search instead for that one reason why it can work—and hold on to it.
Some of life’s greatest struggles produce some of its greatest lessons. What you are going through today may be preparing you for a purpose you have not yet discovered.
So, go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Keep believing. Keep moving. Keep hoping.
When you look back on your life, count it not by the leaves that have fallen, but by the flowers that blossomed. Count your blessings by the smiles you created, the lives you touched, the people you helped and the love you gave.
Treasure genuine friends who care enough to tell you the truth, even when it is uncomfortable. Such friends are gifts.
And if you have made mistakes, do not despair. You can begin again. Failure is not falling down; it is refusing to rise. As the saying goes, fall seven times, rise eight times.
When one door closes, do not spend so much time looking at the closed door that you fail to notice the new doors opening before you.
Your story is not over. There is still hope. There is still purpose. There is still another chapter to be written.
Dear Lord, give us the courage to face every challenge, the wisdom to recognise every opportunity, and the strength to rise whenever we fall. Keep hope alive in our hearts and guide our steps towards the purpose You have prepared for us. May our lives be a source of encouragement, kindness and blessing to others. Amen.
May this bring a little light, hope and encouragement to your heart today.
Have a peaceful, fulfilling and blessed week.
Encourage someone today. You may be the reason they choose to keep going.
