The Lekki Muslim Ummah (LEMU), founded in July 1999, is an umbrella organisation for all Muslims in the Lekki Peninsula area of Lagos State, Nigeria. The mandate for LEMU is to provide a place of worship and facilitate socio-religious activities thereby building a community of Muslims and fostering the propagation of Islam.
